Open the Word document that you want to insert a PDF into
Click Insert > Object... > From File...
Choose the PDF file from the pop-up window and press Insert
The PDF file will then be placed onto your Word document
This method is great if you simply want to place a PDF file as an image into your Word document, where it can be resized or cropped. However, you will not be able to edit the content of the PDF, which leads to the next method.
